A pawsome time for the ultimutt dog lovers

Did you know most of Texas' state parks are dog friendly? Join us with our special guest, Galveston Humane Society, to learn how you can have a fun time outdoors with your furry friends. Dogs are welcome, but not required to attend this program."

What to Expect:

• Ranger led program

• Short morning walk (0.5 mile) - optional

• Dog friendly information

What You Need to Join:

• Park permit (received at park booth before program)

  • Entry fee is $5 for adults and FREE for children 12 & under. Park entry free with a State Parks Pass.

• Weather appropriate clothing

• Water (for you and your dog)

• Dogs must be on a six-foot leash at all times

• Dog waste bags

• Sunscreen/bug spray
