Hello I’m Lillian! 

5-year-old Lillian understands what it’s like to be misunderstood. Her life nearly took a drastic turn when a simple allergy to flea dander was mistaken for something more serious. Luckily, she was able to see a veterinarian who properly diagnosed the issue and helped GIHS get Lillian on the right track to skin health! Now, Lillian is healthy as a clam and sports the most beautiful torbie coat (calico/tortie mix). She’s an affectionate girl who really enjoys fluffy blankets and people watching. You can catch her in the window of Cat Adoption East, either rubbing herself against the glass for pets, or staring out with her naturally blasé expression as her friends and roommates leave to their forever homes.

Meet Bruiser, the shelter’s most smiley resident! We looked at Bruiser’s high school yearbook and learned he was voted “most photogenic” – and honestly, we couldn’t agree more! With a personality that’s as big as his heart, Bruiser is always ready to play and bring smiles to everyone around him. Stuffed toys don’t stand a chance around Bruiser – he’s a weapon of mass fluff destruction! His goofy antics and boundless energy make every day a little brighter! He’s not just playful; he’s incredibly sweet and friendly, making him a great companion for any family. He loves to be loved and will do just about anything for treats.
