Pets of the Week

Meet Barbara!

Barbara is an 8-month-old sweetheart who’s ready to find her forever home. She came to us with her three siblings as strays, but she’s blossomed into a loving, playful companion of her own. Barbara is full of energy and adores playtime—wand toys, jingly balls, and chasing her siblings or friends are some of her favorite activities. She’s also a cuddle bug who loves being right by your side, soaking up all the kisses and affection you can give. Barbara does well with other cats after a slow introduction and would thrive in a home where she can have both playmates and snuggle buddies. Whether she’s chasing a toy or curling up next to you, she’ll steal your heart in no time. Could Barbara be the perfect addition to your family? Come meet this affectionate little lovebug today!

Meet Elsa!

This queen of Arendelle is ready to "Let It Go" out of the shelter life & into your home life. This sweet shepherd mix isn't a super big fan of the cold and won't turn your home into an ice castle, but she WILL melt your heart. Elsa is friendly with other dogs and every person she meets. She has done well at multiple adoption events and day trips with volunteers. Elsa is quite the independent lady (which we attribute to her breed) so if you're looking for a dog who doesn't harass you overthrowing a ball every time she's outside, Elsa is your girl and will fit right at home in your castle. This gentle giant is patiently waiting a long time here for her new family, so don't get cold feet and put in your application for her today!

“Gillie and his sweet sister Millie have already become incredibly close and love to wrestle/cuddle all day long! Gillie is a blessing and is exactly the kitty for our little family. Thank you all again for your assistance on ensuring that he got fixed in a timely manner so he could be in my arms sooner! I also attached some pictures of Gillie and Millie together.”

“My dad and I adopted Butch, now Bruno, in early April. Our old staffordshire terrier sadly passed away, but to help us cope, we found Bruno! He is doing great and is starting to warm up to people! He’s definitely more of a ladies fan. He has gained 6lbs, walks daily, and beat his heart worm! He is such a happy boy! :)”
