Coyote Sighting Resources
The City of Galveston's Animal Services Unit and Geographic Information System division have teamed up to create a coyote sighting tool to provide animal services officers and residents more information about the island's coyote population.
This form allows residents to report when and where coyotes are spotted in their neighborhoods. The information is then sent to the Animal Services Unit and made available online as a resource for residents. This tool may help residents by raising awareness and encouraging them to keep their small pets protected.
